Child Care Nurse Consultant Program
West Central Child Care Connection and the Adams County Health Department have teamed up to promote healthy and safe child care environments in their region. The nurse consultant works toward creating healthy child care environments by providing health expertise and linking families and child care providers with local health departments, primary health care centers and other health/social service agencies.
Services Provided
The child care nurse consultant provides training and technical assistance on health related issues to providers, parents and children. A wide variety of easy to learn topics are covered in these trainings. New ideas and suggestions are always welcome.

Additional Trainings
The child care nurse consultant program is designed to serve the community and provides multiple services on an "as needed" basis. The nurse consultant can provide:

· Telephone consultations and on-site visits
· Assessment of health and safety practices for staff
